WHY THIS COURSE IS IMPORTANT

Many countries, organizations and individuals are taking action to manage their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, a cause of climate change. This is driven by increased pressure from investors, society, governments and supranational organizations. Taking action to reduce or avoid GHG emissions that cause climate change has therefore become a key part of a corporation’s strategy. These actions can reduce the overall emissions of a company or create tradable credits to offset emissions in order to become carbon neutral, not only to have a positive impact on the environment, but also to strive to enhancing its reputation and attracting investment.
